This explains everything... and it was posted in 2007... originated from ethnics. From what I have so far gathered is that it's always been around and it's basically just a mash up of different cultures. But now it's actually in the mainstream. You walk into your new look and the different 'strands' referenced in this video are to be found. The important message of the video is that 'your soul can last for ever and what not' I guess it's making me realise that it's okay to to be me and still dress on trend.
